AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS with TC Carson and Friends is a musical concert staring jazz vocalist and sitcom star from Living Single, TC Carson (Kyle Baker). This concert will range in music from jazz, gospel, and R&B to musical theater. Featured artists include R&B vocalist and 2014 Showtime At The Apollo winner Nicky Parrish, R&B vocalist Julian Leake, and Gospel great Deborah Manning Thomas. This array of dynamic singers will be accompanied by an 18-piece jazz orchestra. For those seeking a new and innovative twist from the normal collection of Christmas carols, this is the concert to see.

In conjunction with experiencing an exciting evening of music, the world premiere of  Journey of the Son (Concert version) will also be presented. This new work from composer and playwright, Carlton Leake, is the story of the journey to Egypt by Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. This journey is simultaneously being made by Kanu, his wife and his ailing son, in hope of receiving healing for his son in the presence of the child king. Journey of the Son, starring actor Ronald McCall (Poppa Justify) from the movie The Skeleton Key, is directed by director and Broadway choreographer Patdro Harris (A Raisin in the Sun).
